The storno is a small bird but, despite this, when it moves in groups it gives us one of nature's most beautiful images.‎ In their flights in flocks, these small birds synchronise their positions and create spectacular shapes that stand out against the sky like moving clouds.‎ Lladró's artists focused on the uniqueness of their plumage, black and iridescent with purple and green highlights, recreating it on these storns through meticulous decoration work.‎ In the black or purple versions, the monochrome tones enhance the tiny feathers that cover the body of these birds.‎
