Avenue door, designed by Robert A. M. Stern, combines Italian sophistication with a distinctly American flavor to create a series of three doors in the contemporary classic style. The matt finished paneling details reinterpret the doors of a classic New York pre-war apartment. The doors are available with single, double or triple paneling. Symmetric and balanced, they complement a range of contemporary interiors with subtle, timeless, American details, and are suitable for residential settings as well as hospitality and office applications.
Technical Description
Swing wood door 41 mm thick with one, two or three recessed panels. Magnetic lockset, concealed hinges and anti-noise gasket included. Wood jamb. Trim 15 mm thickness, flush with the door on the pull side. Telescopic wood trim for wall thickness from 110 to 135 mm. Available for max wall thickness 500 mm.
Architectural is the collection of designer doors and includes both past and contemporary models with different expressive languages but united by the common denominator of the visual essentiality of their design.
The doors have aluminium jambs and are normally provided with a special metal door frame.
This collection includes the doors of historic tradition mounted on a wooden frame and with classic trim, rendered contemporary in its design and in the light expressive language, in harmony and continuity with the different styles of interior architecture.
