Cosy comes from the idea to offer high comfort with a reassuring, warm and familiar gesture. The timeless lines, soft and all embracing design, adaptability and versatile character make Cosy a padded item that offers the utmost comfort in a wide range of situations, environments and frameworks.
Today, the Cosy family is widened with the introduction of island and curved elements, which make the collection even more flexible and dinamic. This sofa system allows to create infinite configurations to meet the needs of the market. Cosy is therefore perfect for both residential and contract use.
Frame
Bearing frame made of solid and multilayer wood, base with elastic belts, feet and concealed hook system.
Padding: variable-density foam polyurethane padding and cover in polyester wadding.
Cover
The option of leather upholstery has been added to the entire collection, including Leather, Nuvola, Anilina and Nabuk options.
The fabric and leather covering every part of the sofa is manufactured to enhance the softness of the sofa. In addition, the covers are completely removable.
The leather upholstery, compared to fabric, requires additional stitching on the seat/backrest, determined over an area of 5.5 m² of leather.
An extra cover can be purchased for both the upholstered sectionals and the cushions.
Modules
System made up of:
- seating modules for the Islands XS (L65 D65), S (L85 D65, L85 D85), M (L125 D65, L125 D85), L (L170 D85), L deep (L170 D125), XL (L210 D85);
- one-sided backrest for Island modules with L85, L125 and L170;
- two-sided backrest for Island modules with L85, L125 and L170;
- seating modules for Curve S (L155 D85) and M (L205 D85);
- one-sided backrest for curve modules S (L175) and M (L216);
- intermediate armrest L85, L110, L125, L150;
- end armrest L85, L110, L125, L150.
The Cosy Island and Cosy Curve upholstered module systems can be mutually combined to create numberless configurations conceived to be continuously remodelled as desired.
The seating modules can also be used individually as pouf elements.
Cosy accessories
The Cosy Island and Cosy Curve sofa system collection is enriched with two new accessories:
Low table. The low table top is made of 15 mm thick medium- density wood fibreboard in the following finishes:
- matt lacquered white or graphite grey (reference RAL 9011).
- bleached oak (edge and underside matt lacquered white) or brown oak and canaletto walnut (edge and underside matt lacquered graphite grey).
- Light armrest. Consisting of a plywood poplar wood panel, padded with single-density polyurethane foam, covered with polyester wadding. Available in all the fabrics suitable for the sofa. The armrest is removable by dismantling the supporting structure.
Both accessories are positioned by “wrapping” the seat of the sofa by means of an epoxy powder-coated metal band, available in two matt finishes: white or graphite grey.
The metal band is available in two versions:
- with curved legs, for positioning at the end of the seat;
- with straight legs, for positioning at the end of the seat where the backrest is present.
Additional cushions
- Square cushion 50x50cm with down filling and lateral strip;
- Rectangular cushion 75x40cm with down filling and lateral strip;
- Lower back cushion 75x25cm with down filling and lateral strip
