ANTHURIUM By Mutaforma
With a special eye for shapes, colours and movement, floral designer Dylan Tripp brings small botanical worlds to life, in a reality where elegance, poetry and spontaneity meet, creating a new floral aesthetic.
Based on the observation of flowers and their elements, Dylan Tripp was challenged to recreate and exalt natural geometries with glass micro tesserae, the newest feather in Mutaforma’s cap.
Design made of extra clear glass squared picotesserae TILLA® with a 2 up to 7 mm side, decorated with colored and metallic nanolayers and applied on polymeric flexible base supports.
A floral composition with a strong geometric quality. The dynamic volume of the Anthurium structure creates a distorted floral explosion. Color contrasts take center stage in the series, as acid green and white are the background drop of pink splashes freeing the artwork from the “romantic color” cliché.
