CONCRETE KINTSUGI By Officinarkitettura®
Gold, the noble and precious metal that has been used since ancient times to create jewellery, emperors’ crowns and decorative elements of noble palaces, from the Renaissance to the age of the Sun King for the decorations of the Palace of Versailles and in the palaces of the most refined courts throughout Europe, synonymous of culture, opulence, nobility and majesty.
Oro24 retraces these time lines by refining and simplifying the sign in a contemporary viewpoint, experimenting with the use of gold inserted in gauzed cement textures as in CONCRETE KINTSUGI or raw cement showing the signs of time up to the simplification of geometric shapes in ORO ² squares and the gold leaf of GOLDEN.
Gold becomes an integral part of natural botanical elements such as a flowering Japanese cherry tree in SAKURA, blends into a bamboo forest with KI and becomes ginkgo leaf in GINKO ORO, until it transforms into the wind that makes oak leaves and roses fly in GOLD IN THE WIND.
The collection consists of 8 designs, all handmade with the aid of a special digital process. All the designs evoke new worlds where it is gold that embellishes the lines of the hand-drawn design and becomes the fundamental element of absolute beauty.
