Wood, Metal, Glass
This collection, designed by Ricardo Bello Dias -art director of the brand- and Studio Ornare -coordinated by its CEO Murillo Schattan- searches inspiration in distant lands.
As a company, we see the opportunity to seek ideas in different civilization models, where millennial philosophies -like ikigai*- and the legacy of special communities -like shakers*- enrich us with new meanings that humanize our product.
It is a collection that offers technical, aesthetic and artisanal solutions, adaptable to different situations and lifestyles. Creativity finds always more space through the exclusive process of customization. Our collection’s elements can assume different configurations and are available in a wide range of materials, colors and finishes.
West East collection presents 4 lines of products: Ikigai, Shaker Infinite and Mech, each of them including a range of solutions for kitchens and wardrobes. Furthermore, we are launching an esclusive system of doors and a modular bookshelf, together with a variety of new accessories.
*Ikigai: A Japanese concept that means “a reason for being” encompassing joy. The word “ikigai” is usually used to indicate the source of value in one’s life or the things that make one’s life worthwhile.
*The Shakers: one of a few religious groups which were formed during the 18th century in the Northwest of England. They practice a simple and communal lifestyle, pacifism, and their model of equality of the sexes.
“Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don’t hesitate to make it beautiful. ” -Shaker philosophy-
The Infinite line is presented as an evolution of the Wall System, covering the house as a unique and fluid environment. Its characteristic striped panels allow to merge walls, doors and furniture in a single surface, with a dynamic look and high decorative value.
