Her attractive redhead made an indelible impression on the Austrian director, Harald Reinl, and this paved the way to higher profile roles. In later years, she performed mainly stages roles but still appeared in some films.
Influenced by her glamour and sensuality, Ottiu designers conceived the Karin Mid-Century Dining Chair.
