Outdoor & Indoor: today more than ever these terms are complementary and give rise to more and more refined and sophisticated solutions in terms of style, color and materials to meet the needs of furniture influenced by the world of design and fashion.
Jumeirah comes from the experience of Prima S.r.l. to give a comprehensive response to the need for a fabric that combines the resistance to weathering and sunlight with the suitability for uses where the application of fire retardant and high resistance, offered by the innovative fiber thread, constitute a prerequisite.
Jumeirah is a fabric with innovative and unique technical characteristics; it has been developed by intense research on highly technical yarns. Jumeirah matches a refined style with the respect for nature and the environment: this is realized thanks to a process that requires far less energy than all other synthetic yarns, it is non-allergenic, non-toxic, 100% recyclable and flame retardant.
Jumeirah perfectly adapts to both indoor and outdoor environments, it is antistatic and highly resistant to mould and bacteria. Jumeirah is easy to clean and can be machine washed at 40°C. It is resistant to U.V. rays and this guarantees a high colour fastness to sunlight.
In respect of the nature, Jumeirah uses fibers having the certification mark Oeko Tex Standard 100 . This means that Jumeirah does not contain harmful elements and is compatible with the environment as made with eco-friendly raw materials.
Jumeirah is also environmentally friendly because it is made in a facility that uses solar energy to produce the electricity needed to power the machinery. The amount of electricity from renewable sources generated annually is equal to 50% of needs of the plant.
