Drawing inspiration from the Ionic discipline of ancient Greek architecture, Ion examines classic architectural cues and alloys them into a contemporary and sophisticated outdoor lantern collection. Ion’s signature glass colonnade hints at the appeal of fluted glass, whilst being distinctly unique. Once illuminated, Ion reveals new structural elements as warm, ambient lighting filters and refracts through the tubes cascading to the base. An ability to interchange these glass tubes with opaque columns allows control over lighting directionality. With two scales tailoring to different applications, Ion presents a refined and versatile design choice for fixed mount architectural lanterns and bollards.
