FORESTINE - MAT POUDRÉ By Ressource
Decorative painting finish
Collection linked to the first "Forestine" wallpaper collection, strongly characterized by a series of intense blue tones.
Matte paint of exceptional depth for walls and ceilings
For vertical surfaces and ceillings. For use in all indoor rooms.
Base surfaces: For application to all ordinary and correctly-primed structural surfaces.
Water-dilutable Powder Matte Finish combines the properties of a glycerophtalic interior paint (highly-opacifying, with an excellent round finish and exceptional decorative properties) with those of a water dispersion paint (odourless and rapid-drying, with tools washable in water). Class 2 wet abrasion resistance(2) : easy maintenance. Suitable for application by roller or brush. Whitewashed appearance achievable by the application of the whitewashing effect. Also treated for the prevention of the appearance of rust spots on nail heads and screw heads.
Base surfaces must be entirely free of dust, dry, sound, of uniform quality and thoroughly cleaned.
Apply a coast of primer and/or undercoat which is appropriate to the base surface and the shade.
EQUIPMENT FOR APPLICATION
Apply using a 1/2’’ (12 mm) non-drip roller for a rounded dappled effect, with a 3/8’’ (10 mm) roller for a taut effect, or using an airless sprayer or pneumatic spray gun. Option for smoothing with a spalter brush to achieve a smoothed effect.
Once the undercoat is completely dry, apply two coats of POWDER MATTE using a brush or roller, diluting with a maximum of approximately 5% of water.
In an airless sprayer or conventional spray gun, depending upon the device used, the paint may require dilution with 10 - 20% of water. A number of tests should be executed on card or on a concealed area, in order to arrive at the optimum dilution
Our choice went naturally to the Forestine Studio, owned by Annabelle Vermont, who is none other than the great granddaughter of the founder of the Ressource Group when the time came to open our House of Wallpaper Design.
She has designed 10 exclusive motifs for Ressource, available in several colours and occasionally in various sizes, amounting to 45 wallpaper references in total.
Inspired by the brand’s birthplace in Provence (France), Annabelle Vermont displays nature in a very universal, abundant and colourful way. She incorporates flowers, plants, insects and birds as well as hand-drawn fauna and flora, all in a very contemporary style.
