ACOUSTIC 225 PLUS is a medium-density, uncoated rock wool panel for thermal and acoustic insulation of lightweight (dry technology) and massive partition walls and perimeter walls.
Applications
The product makes a significant contribution to increasing acoustic and fire safety performance.
Properties
Thermal performance: thanks to the excellent conductivity value λD=0.033 W/(mK), the panel, available in a wide range of thicknesses (up to 250 mm), is ideal for the realisation of closures with high thermal resistance.
Acoustic properties: the open-cell structure of stone wool contributes significantly to improving the soundproofing performance of the wall in which the panel is installed. Laboratory sound insulation tests are available.
Fire behaviour: the panel, which is non-combustible, does not generate smoke or drips in the event of fire; it also helps prevent the spread of fire and contributes to the fire resistance performance of the building element in which it is installed. Assessments of fire resistance performance are available.
Dimensional stability: the panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations as the hygrometric conditions of the environment change.
