Rock wool Thermal insulation panel
AIRROCK 33 ALU is a rigid medium-density rock wool panel covered on one side with a sheet of aluminium reinforced with a mineral fibre mesh to act as a vapour barrier for the thermal and acoustic insulation of perimeter walls.
Applications
The presence of the vapour barrier coupled to the panel regulates the hygrometric behaviour of the walls in particularly critical conditions.
Properties
Thermal performance: thanks to the excellent conductivity value λD = 0.033 W/(mK), the panel, available in a wide range of thicknesses, is ideal for the realisation of high thermal resistance closures.
Acoustic properties: the open-cell structure of rock wool contributes significantly to improving the soundproofing performance of the wall in which the panel is installed.
Vapour control: the aluminium, which covers one side of the panel, acts as a vapour barrier.
Fire behaviour: the panel, which is non-combustible, generates neither smoke nor drips when exposed to open flames; it also helps prevent the propagation of fire and contributes to increasing the fire resistance performance of the building element in which it is installed.
Dimensional stability: the panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations when the hygrometric conditions of the environment change.
