AIRROCK DD is a rigid, uncoated, double-density rock wool panel for thermal and acoustic insulation of lightweight (dry technology) and massive partition walls and perimeter walls.
Applications
The product contributes significantly to improving acoustic, thermal and fire safety performance.
The correctly installed product has the higher density, marked side facing outwards.
Properties
Acoustic properties: The open cell structure of stone wool contributes significantly to improving the sound insulation performance of the packages in which the panel is installed. Laboratory sound insulation tests are available.
Fire behaviour: the panel, which is non-combustible, does not generate smoke or drips when exposed to open flames; it also helps prevent the spread of fire and contributes to the fire resistance performance of the building element in which it is installed. Laboratory fire resistance tests are available.
Thermal performance: thanks to its conductivity value, the panel is ideal for the realisation of closures with high thermal resistance.
Ease of laying: the product's double density ensures resistance (surface crust of the panel) and flexibility (lower layer of the panel), making it easy and convenient to lay.
Dimensional stability: the panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations when the hygrometric conditions of the environment change.
