VENTIROCK DUO is a rigid, uncoated, double-density rock wool panel for thermal and acoustic insulation and safety in case of fire.
Applications
Ventilated Facades insulation. The correctly installed product has the higher density, marked side facing outwards.
Properties
Fire behaviour: the panel, which is non-combustible, does not contribute to a fire and, if exposed to open flames, generates neither smoke nor drips; it helps prevent the spread of fire, an essential aspect in the presence of a ventilated cavity.
Weather resistance: thanks to the presence of a denser surface crust, the VENTIROCK DUO panel resists the action of rainwater and wind, as it is not subject to weathering.
Ease of installation: the dual density of the product ensures its resistance (surface crust of the panel) and flexibility (lower layer of the panel), making it easy and convenient to install.
Acoustic properties: the open-cell structure of rock wool contributes significantly to improving the soundproofing performance of the wall in which the panel is installed. Laboratory acoustic insulation tests are available.
Thermal performance: due to its conductivity value, the panel is ideal for high-efficiency building envelopes.
Vapour permeability: thanks to a μ value of 1, the panel allows for the realisation of "breathable" closure packages.
Dimensional stability: the panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations when the thermal and hygrometric conditions of the environment change.
