Fade One Smooth offers a continuous acoustic solution with a fine surface that is quick and easy to install. The system consists of only two main components: Fade Acoustic Board and Fade One Smooth. The acoustic board can be installed mechanically with special metal fixings from the manufacturer or installed by direct fixing with Ecophon glue. Due to its flexibility, ability to be coloured and continuous appearance, it is a solution for various high-end applications from historic buildings to residential, commercial, retail and educational spaces.

The innovative acoustic plaster system from fade™ can be applied to virtually any surface, including straight and curved walls, corners, domes and arches, to meet all design requirements. The exceptionally smooth surface is a flexible and elegant addition to Ecophon's wide range of high-performance products that absorb unwanted noise. These solutions are designed for a wide range of applications in different environments.
A continuous acoustic solution with an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) value of up to 1.0 for wall and ceiling applications. Its highly sound-absorbent qualities allow for optimal acoustic control in various environments such as offices, large shopping centres, leisure spaces and hospitality facilities. Combining high-value aesthetics and acoustic performance, the fade™ system is suitable for a wide range of developments, and is also well-suited for use in architecturally significant historical contexts.
By absorbing sound waves, the fade™ sound absorption system helps reduce reverberation time, providing the highest level of sound absorption. In addition, the installation process is quick and easy and contains no synthetic materials.
The products are also environmentally friendly. With a VOC content of just 0.02 g/L and French VOC A+ certification, the products comply with the LEED reference standard. All products have also passed the ASTM D3273 test for resistance to mould growth on the surface of interior cladding. The systems have also achieved Cradle to Cradle v3.1 Silver level certification.
Installation methods:
- Direct installation: Sound-absorbing system installed directly onto a plasterboard, concrete or wooden substrate with fade™ special adhesive glue or staples with fade™ special washers.
- Installation with grid: Noise absorbing system installed with Connect c/c 400 mm support with special fade™ washers staples.
