Contemporary style LED direct light crystal table lamp
What could be the link between a Breton lighthouse and the world of cinema, taking an ice bucket as a starting point? This is the magical creative alchemy whispered by the crystal to the designer Florence Bourel. Thus, in playful spirit, she turns a perfectly classic ice bucket into a table lamp worthy of a Fresnel lens. The aesthetic resonance of the bevel cut, worked across the entire lamp, creates a diffractive effect giving the piece of crystal the appearance of a solid block lit from inside. Placed in the corner of a room or on one side of a table, the aptly named Plein Phare table lamp is a veritable beacon of sparkling light. It diffuses a dense atmospheric light, generated by an LED integrated into its metal stand, with a dimmer switch to adjust its intensity. The chrome-plated back plate with its bevelled openwork is left intentionally visible, as are the screws, to testify to the piece’s authenticity.
Like a duplicate of the table lamp, the photophore also features the continuous bevel cut, including across its base. This refinement multiplies the sparkle of the flame burning inside, all the more so since its generous curves are an invitation to place it on a wooden floor, on a patio or in a garden. The aesthetic force of the bevel cut gives the Plein Phare candleholder the unmistakable contemporary elegance that complements any interior, whether antique, minimalist, or avant-garde.
