Salt caves

A salt cave is an entirely salt covered place. The salt comes from the Dead Sea, Black Sea, from the Himalayas or from Central Europe rock salt mines. The salt is re-crystallized rock salt or sea salt and it has a 3-4 mm grain size. In some cases, an aerosol generator injects micronized salt into the air to increase the effect of ionized air. There are about 50°C in the salt cave and you should stay inside for about 30 minutes. The cave is made just to let you benefit from the salt ions in the structure. That air is full of negative ions that neutralize pollution particles and purify the bronchial tube. Salt caves are very useful for people with breathing conditions, skin conditions, allergies, blood circulation problems, hypertension and stress. It doesn’t have to be built from scratch. You can also make one with freestanding high density EPS structures cladded with salt bricks. The bricks can be backlit enabling chrometherapy effects. In addition, you can enhance the treatment by adding an integrated audio system for musictherapy.
