A name with roots far away, a unique aesthetic with a fascinating personality and rich in fluid beauty.‎ All this and much more is Nalu, the new collection signed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba for the top outdoor brand Talenti.‎

Of Hawaiian origin, the name "Nalu" means "wave", a term with strong charm and that carries with it a rich history of meaning.‎ A connection, that between the furniture and the sea that has been consolidated over time and to which the brand particularly cares also by virtue of the strong link given by the collaborations with the world of nautical.‎

A concept in motion

Nalu is a complete furniture family where the call to the majesty of waves coexist with the research of materials and colors and in which it rewrites the way of understanding the link between coating and structure, between straight geometries and unpredictable curves.‎ A "nouvelle vague", in which grace and power converge to give life to something unique, something that goes beyond the simple decorative element to flow, for the first time, into an all-encompassing universe of products.‎ Not only furniture, then, but also accessories, fabrics made ad hoc, vases and everything that makes up the creative project Made in Talenti.‎ 

For this project, the duo Palomba-Serafini was inspired by what was the style of the masters of the golden years of Italian design and that comes from the idea of a unique cushion that folds generating the seat and back, like a kind of wave.‎ This collection also responds to the desire to create something lighter, suspended furniture that does not touch the ground and that refers to a pleasure of being in the open air more informal and less structured.‎ The arms, in fusion and with a sensual shape, enclose a kind of shell that paints a multi-chromatic world emerging from the soft structure that envelops them in a stylistic explosion in constant movement and almost hypnotic.‎ 

The multiverse Talents

Talenti has always proposed solutions and with Nalu we have taken a further step in this direction, by designing complete furniture families that include seats, sofas, tables and sunbeds, as well as fully coordinated tailor-made elements.‎ The lines that, for example, characterize the style of dynamic cushions are the same as those of carpets, vases and covers chromatically aligned with the ceramics of the tables and the structures of the seats.‎ A symbiosis that has no equal in the market and which in Milan has received considerable success for its revolutionary charge".‎ 

The power of color

Nalu is a collection that.‎ The colors available, ranging from red to deep blue, through the most versatile silk grey, warm white and graphite, allow infinite combinations and relaunching the combination between the mosaic effect of the tables and the vertical lines of the upholstery, structure or carpet, Everything in perfect sync.‎ 

The geometric puzzle of the ceramic stoneware tops on the dining and living floors highlights the craftsmanship of the collection.‎ Nalu tables rework, like the rest of the collection, the lines of the great design classics: differentiating themselves from the single-plate processes of previous productions, they opt for a multitude of multidimensional tiles whose particularity lies in being individually glazed, thus making perfect play, Almost liquid, with a slight colour gradient.‎ 

Eco-sustainable project

A particular focus in the design has been given to the sustainable component that for Talenti is not a fashion but an entrepreneurial vision.‎ The structure is made of 100% aluminium, not only in terms of resistance to atmospheric agents but also in terms of respect for the environment.‎ A structure that encloses cushions whose coatings have been made ad hoc by Talenti, all reinforced by the fact that the collection is entirely and totally disassemblable and recyclable.‎
