Patterned rectangular rug
Since the 1980s, we have surrounded ourselves with talented designers who, in the carpet, found a new means of expression. Our brand new arrival Florence Bourel puts her signature to an ethno-chic collection with explosive colours and graphics, providing a touch of bohemian spirit. Fréderic Ruyant gives us a new take on 1950s themes, endowing his collection with a lived-out feel through the faded colours and looped pile. Eric Gizard redefines contemporary codes on timeless, ecological carpets knotted in raw, sensual wool. In this way, each individual brings their own sensitivity and vision of the time, redefining the modern state of the carpet today.
Straddling tradition and modernity, this pattern exudes wisdom, reading like a piece of parchment or forgotten text. The play on the contrast between matte and shine increases the precious connotations suggested by its name, and the subtle colour work already makes it a classic.
