Patterned rectangular wool rug
Since the 1980s, we have surrounded ourselves with talented designers who, in the carpet, found a new means of expression. Our brand new arrival Florence Bourel puts her signature to an ethno-chic collection with explosive colours and graphics, providing a touch of bohemian spirit. Fréderic Ruyant gives us a new take on 1950s themes, endowing his collection with a lived-out feel through the faded colours and looped pile. Eric Gizard redefines contemporary codes on timeless, ecological carpets knotted in raw, sensual wool. In this way, each individual brings their own sensitivity and vision of the time, redefining the modern state of the carpet today.
Eric Gizard is a lover of fine, comfortable materials and increasingly fascinated by image. Here, he transcribes his sleek photographic prints of branches set like writing against the sky. On this rug, the branches become writing inscribed on the floor, knot after knot.
