Patterned rectangular wool rug
Since the 1980s, we have surrounded ourselves with talented designers who, in the carpet, found a new means of expression. Our brand new arrival Florence Bourel puts her signature to an ethno-chic collection with explosive colours and graphics, providing a touch of bohemian spirit. Fréderic Ruyant gives us a new take on 1950s themes, endowing his collection with a lived-out feel through the faded colours and looped pile. Eric Gizard redefines contemporary codes on timeless, ecological carpets knotted in raw, sensual wool. In this way, each individual brings their own sensitivity and vision of the time, redefining the modern state of the carpet today.
Inspired by wood battens, this hand-tufted version plays on a superposition of colourful, structured graphic rhythms to create a moiré effect. The intertwined colours make our perception of the rug very different depending on the viewing angle.
