The Canalgrande bed, designed by Matteo Ragni and Tiziano Carnieletto, is an ancient but innovative model, which combines many features thanks to the "habitable" and "equipped" headboard, through a system that integrates shelves and padding.
Everything has its place, every form has its function, every component has its material: the Venetian gondola has been celebrated throughout history as the ultimate example of functionalism and design efficiency, reaching far beyond its vernacular image. If it were not an extraordinary example of transport engineering, it would be impossible for a boat that’s propelled asymmetrically by a single person to travel in a straight line. The secret is therefore all in the union between its design and those who steer it: an emblematic metaphor for Twils’ way of working.
The Canalgrande bed represents the closing of a circle; the alpha and omega of a story; the piece that joins all the dots to reveal the final picture.
