Siman candle holder, designed by Gian Paolo Venier in 2018, is crafted of cast concrete.
Available in 2 sizes (Tall and Short) and 2 shades that highlight the texture of the concrete – light grey and anthracite – the collection is hand-produced by Urbi et Orbi in Greece.
SIMAN Collection is a family of 7 concrete tableware objects, one washbasin and a pendant lamp conceived by Italian designer Gian Paolo Venier for our 2018 series. A passionate traveler, Gian Paolo Venier is in constant search of afar atmospheres to add to his design vocabulary. A postcard representing the ancient Toghrul tower, situated near Teheran (Iran) was the starting point for this collection. The name comes from the Farsi term “siman”, which means concrete.
Marked by the iconic pleating, which creates an everchanging game of shadows and depths these pieces carry a strong architectural character.
