MULTIPORM4 TIP is the ideal interior mineral insulation panel for interior insulation of perimeter walls as an alternative to drywall systems Multipor M4 TIP internal insulation panels can be applied to both walls and ceilings.
The Multipor M4 panel allows high thicknesses of internal insulation without the use of vapour barriers typical of drywall systems.
In the case of energy saving, current legislation requires high thicknesses of insulation and the use of traditional systems is extremely risky due to the need for vapour barriers or airtight seals. The hygroscopicity and the characteristic of being an active-capillary material of the Multipor mineral panel, preventing the formation of condensation, allow it to be insulated from the inside without vapour barriers with thicknesses of 6-8 cm. In the case of outdoor ceiling application, use M3 type panels and provide mechanical fixing. Not to be used for external insulation.
Solid, mineral, monolithic insulation material consisting of calcium silicate hydrates, lime, sand, cement, water and aerating agent (porosity >95% Vol.). Bio-architecturally and microbiologically harmless, with inhibiting effect against fungi and microorganisms, totally recyclable.
