Saxun is a brand of the Spanish company Giménez Ganga, among the leading manufacturers of
solar shading systems and enclosures, with more than 60 years of experience. Created in 2006, the Saxun brand offers an extensive catalog that includes
glass facades, shutters, indoor and outdoor
blinds, bioclimatic
pergolas, mosquito nets, and roller shutters. Values related to quality craftsmanship, combined with innovation, stem from the experience gained in the small carpentry workshop founded by brothers Pedro and Juan Giménez Ganga. Soon aluminum and PVC replaced wood, providing the company with the cue to devise new products, in keeping with the times. Today Saxun offers cutting-edge solutions for designers and architects in the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. The catalog offers a wide choice of metal or wood-effect finishes, a palette of RAL colors for aluminum profiles, and a selection of exclusive fabrics for indoor blinds and
awnings. The production cycle, from extrusion to painting to packaging, is entirely developed in the Sax factory in Sax, Alicante, Spain. The brand is also present in more than 70 countries, thanks to an extensive network of distributors.
Saxun's solar shading systems
The Saxun catalog offers different solutions to achieve maximum comfort in indoor environments, thanks to
solar shading systems and insect screens. Sunscreens are state-of-the-art solutions for reducing heat input into rooms by positioning them far from walls and windows. This stratagem ensures that the sun's rays do not reach exterior surfaces, while still providing proper natural lighting throughout the months of the year. Sunshades can be installed either vertically or horizontally. Saxun's adjustable models differ in the width of the slats, a factor that affects aesthetic performance. The 4-400 aluminum adjustable sunshade has a 400 mm wide movable slat system, while the R-100 model mounts slats that are only 100 mm wide. self-supporting Herta awning offers the flexibility of free-standing models for shading if no wall is available to fix the awning. The wall-mounted extendable arm models range from the Aura model, for small surfaces, to the Zeres II model, which features separation between the fabric winding tube and the arm support, as well as being equipped with a cross-arm system capable of providing a large overhang. The catalog also includes drop awnings equipped with side guides, as in the SRS model, motorized sliding curtains in the Jana and Aneas lines, as well as canopy and drop awnings with fixed arms.
