Revestimiento de pared de gres porcelánico para interiores
2025
FLORIM and Studio Matteo Thun Milano explore the aesthetic potential of a timeless material, a remarkable expression of Italian craftsmanship. Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana convey their deep admiration for the excellence of 'Made in Italy' through the SensiTerre collection, adding charm and tactile quality to traditional ceramics with the aid of advanced technology and an intense search for poetic essentiality. The design journey begins with Venere Bianca, which, on its tenth anniversary, is adapted to ceramic surfaces, preserving its connection to terracotta and its unique purity. Six shades evoke the essence of earth, and four distinctive surfaces invite touch, creating a dialogue between memory and design. Modularity and multiple configurations are key elements of this collection, offering endless creative possibilities. In this way, SensiTerre continues the exploration of material initiated with Sensi, inviting both visual and tactile engagement.
The collection features 6 colours, which faithfully reproduce the different natural shades of the clays, and 4 different surfaces: natural (matte) and grained in all 6 colours of the range; ribbed and striped only in Sand and Brown.
The natural surface is linked to the original materiality of the clay.
The grain takes its inspiration from cocciopesto, a building material used by the Ancient Romans as a waterproof coating for indoor and outdoor floors and walls. It consists of a mixture of minutely crushed brick fragments (tiles or bricks) and fine, lime-based mortar.
Rigatino and Cannettato, on the other hand, reproduce the combing and engraving techniques of the Venere Bianca vases respectively.
All surfaces are suitable for tiling; for paving, only natural (R10), grit (R11 - Grip) and rigatino (R10).
