Federico Carandini worked as a designer in New York City from 1990 to 2003, including for his own consulting agency, Fede Carandini Design, which included clients like Ralph Lauren Home. While living in the U.S. he also taught industrial design at the Pratt Institute in New York and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Since moving to Milan in 2003 he has taught at the University of Milan and Bocconi University and worked as the art director for Baleri Italia from 2004 to 2013, when he founded contemporary furniture company Eponimo. Carandini teaches courses in industrial design at Syracuse Florence (spring only).
