That's what you can see in the YouTube-testvideo of the 3 x 3m (9'10”) version of giant umbrella Big Ben, which was designed specifically for the hospitality business.‎ After all the manufacturer CARAVITA intends, that it should be possible to let the umbrella installed outside throughout the whole year.‎ This is possible because of the sophisticated construction as well as high quality materials like aluminum and stainless steel.‎
 
With diameters of 3-7 m  (9'10”-23') octagonal it reliably covers both the smallest and the largest areas.‎ In addition to that, the many rectangular sizes provide suitable solutions for small cafes with narrow terraces.‎ Combined with gutters and side curtains an individual weather protection can easily be created.‎
 
Even the largest sizes of the CARAVITA-umbrella can be opened effortlessly with a removable stainless steel crank handle.‎ The integrated telescopic mechanism closes the umbella above table height, thus ensuring that repsective furniture does not have to be removed first.‎
 
Optionally with integrated lighting and heating system
Elegance, the integrated LED light option for Big Ben, will make your terrace shine bright.‎ Designed to be elegant and unobtrusive, the modern LED-strips provide pleasant light, allowing for the terrace to be used in the evening.‎ LEDs and wiring are installed permanetly and do not have to be removed when closing the umbrella.‎ The lights can be operated conveniently with a remote control.‎
 
With integrated heating, Big Ben provides pleasant temperatures even on cool days.‎
This way, the season can be extended by a few months.‎ All wires are securely concealed inside of the frame.‎ The removable SOLAMAGIC heaters, can be attached either to the mast or the struts.‎
 
Individual colors and advertising
Giant umbrellas are the best advertising for hospitality, especially on busy streets.‎ Therefore, individuality is a top priority at CARAVITA.‎ Canopies are available in more than 100 colors.‎ Frames are available in more than 200 colors.‎ Colors and additional manufacturing (valances, wind hood, etc.‎) options can be combined to get a unique sunshade.‎ Every CARAVITA patio umbrella is custom made.‎
