08/06/2020 - The Milano Design Weeks has always been a unique opportunity of exchange, a platform for interactions eagerly anticipated by many. During this special week the city of Milan has become the pulsating center, attracting crowds of people with new experiences, numerous events and exhibitions. This year, however, it has been challenged to reinvent itself by the ongoing pandemic. Would it be practicable to transfer the entire emotional luggage and reach such a vast audience without the possibility to come together?
The challenge has been accepted by Archiproducts and Fuorisalone.it, a partnership meant to support the Milano Design Week, to provide it with a new virtual dress and a strategy based on a mix of complementary competencies. The result is an extraordinary conjunction aimed at a digital audience of the Design Week. The scope is to convey all the emotions, present the latest design novelties, offer a platform for brands and create an immersive user experience.
While Fuorisalone.it becomes a platform for events and networking, Archiproducts is responsible for the digital presentation of products and collections. “In a moment like this we thought it important to give brands an opportunity to present their new products in the best possible way, providing them with a means to reach their audience worldwide,” explains Enzo Maiorano, co-founder and art director of Archiproducts. “To make this happen we had to concentrate our digital expertise, our core competences for over 20 years.”
Archiproducts’ strategy in support of the brands is boosted by New Products 2020, a newly launched platform with services providing international visitors with up-to-date information about the latest products and developments, including catalogs, videos, interviews and live events with sneak peeks at the 2020 collections.
More than 100 brands have already confirmed their participation, and more than 1000 new products are already on display with videos, image galleries and downloadable catalogs.
“This platform,” continues Enzo Maiorano, “is part of a wider range of services that, apart from offering prioritized visibility through Archiproducts and New Products, also includes social media campaigns and email newsletters to more than 3 million subscribers.”
Also Fuorisalone Digital is summoning its forces. The website www.fuorisalone.it presents two new instruments (Fuorisalone TV and Fuorisalone Meets), now also offering an opportunity to distribute content trough two additional channels (Fuorisalone China and Fuorisalone Japan). Further, the platform will offer combined solutions and distribution trough multiple channels, thanks to new dedicated instruments that both increase and improve interaction with the public in coordination with the brand Fuorisalone.
Official launch of the platform is set for June 15th 2020, with the new website Fuorisalone.it online, Fuorisalone TV live broadcasts promoting the project and selected contents and, last but not least, the get-go for Fuorisalone Meets.
