05/04/2023 - A luminous, dynamic and sinuous architecture: Aria Infinita is the new Slamp pendant lamp that will be unveiled at Euroluce 2023, a majestic lighting project celebrating ten years of the lighting brand's collaboration with Zaha Hadid.
The partnership between Slamp and the Zaha Hadid design studio is one that began in 2013 with the Aria and Avia collection of lamps, signature projects but also a declared aptitude of the brand for experimentation and research: from the versatility of technopolymers - the material with which Slamp makes its products - fluid and complex forms come to life, defining imposing designs with extreme lightness.
"The partnership with Zaha Hadid was born from a brilliant intuition of Nigel Coates who was Art Director of Slamp at the time and a friend of the architect. He invited her to imagine a project for us", says Luca Mazza, General Manager of the brand. "This encounter marked a very important moment for us, consolidating the dialogue with the more visionary world of contemporary architecture. ARIA INFINITA is our way of paying tribute to Zaha's revolutionary presence, her charisma, and her ability to look at things in such a radical way."
Aria Infinita is a truly luminous, dynamic and large-scale architecture in which Zaha Hadid's original approach manifests itself: sinuous lines and bold shapes give the object expressive and scenic charge. With Slamp's new pendant lamp, the traditional concept of lighting is surpassed, making way for a truly modular installation: Aria Infinita is a modular system that, starting from a minimum extension of 3 metres, can be ideally replicated ad infinitum, responding to the needs of environments of large dimensions.

Aria and Avia represent the starting point for ARIA INFINITA: the foils that follow one another in the structure are in fact the same ones that now harmoniously take on imposing formats, opening and developing linearly in space to create a large sinusoidal wave, available in white and gold. Made and assembled by hand through a sartorial process, the sheets - each 3 mm thick - are positioned around a luminous body made of Lentiflex, from which an unprecedented luminous vitality is emanated, giving dynamism and elegance to the environments.
