02/05/2023 - Between minimalism and sustainability,
Elisa Ossino and
Kensaku Oshiro sign the new
Ambientec portable lamps, unveiled at
Euroluce 2023. Warm and emotional colours, new materials and versatility identify the Japanese light design brand's new proposals, accompanied by special editions of two icons.
Elisa Ossino's minimalist lantern is called
Madco, in which new colours give a warm and welcoming touch to the entire composition. The new Ambientec portable lamp is composed of a sphere resting on a visually slender structure that can be rotated 360° to modulate ever-changing light configurations.
The lower canopy encloses the technological components and is available in a palette of five shades to choose from: olive, peach, terracotta, mustard and cherry. Easily rechargeable and waterproof, Madco is a versatile and transportable object, also perfect for contract scenarios, from a restaurant terrace to a hotel lounge.
Extrus is the Ambientec portable lamp by
Kensaku Oshiro that combines aesthetics and sustainability in an aluminium extrusion.
Thanks to an energy-conscious production process, the T shaped table lamp is obtained with its functional and comfortable lighting.
The two rings of the cylindrical section are held together by radial septa, designed to guarantee solidity to the structure and dissipate the heat of the lamp. The light of Extrus spreads in a homogeneous gradation along the grooves of the handle, conveying a new sensation of tangibility.
At euroluce 2023 Ambientec also unveiled new table lamps that enrich the
Turn collection by Nao Tamura and
Xtal by Ryuichi Kozeki.
The
table lamp Turn Craft offers original material and chromatic effects, from the shiny black of the chrome-plated steel version to the worn character of the brass version.
With a name that evokes one of the brightest stars in the Southern Cross constellation,
Xtal Gacrux has a carved aluminium base that gives unprecedented refraction effects: the light spreads in every direction, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.
