01/07/2020 - ARP
are the three collections with which Diabla
inspires new ways to enjoy the outdoor spaces whenever and wherever.
As intrepid and fresh as ever, Diabla releases these collections designed to respond with ingenuity and movement to the challenges of new outdoor lifestyles. These are LILLY, designed by Democracia Estudio; ARP, with the Made Studio signature; and GRILL, created by MUT Design.
ARP, a collection of outdoor furniture created by Borja García and Laura Ros from their architectural firm Made Studio, embodies their conception of design as something passionately rational, as analytical as it is emotional, which should improve the lives of people and the world they inhabit. With pieces like Arp, it’s easy to imagine any environment in a space open to the outside becoming as intimate and private as a secret garden.
Based on a thermolacquered aluminium tubular structure - highly functional and easy to maintain - the series is composed of an armchair, a two- and three-seater sofa and a coffee table. The Arp pieces are absolutely contemporary, architectural and elegant.
GRILL transports minimalism and the essence of geometry to outdoor spaces, contrasting and merging its mathematical character with the inherent forms of nature. Conceived by Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón, founders of MUT Design, this collection stands out for its strong personality and aesthetics that bring it closer to the category of artistic object.
This versatile collection, composed of a chair, stools (high and low) and a chair with armrests, permits an infinite number of possible combinations to create different spaces and ambiences. These are comfortable, simple pieces that are easy to move and stack, made entirely from welded aluminium and which stand out for their linear silhouettes that transmit lightness.
Designed by Democràcia Estudio, Lilly is fresh and casual, working alone or with others. The Lilly armchair pays particular homage to Lilly Reich, a brilliant designer and architect, professor at the Bauhaus, often unfairly forgotten despite her decisive role at the time, having collaborated with Mies van der Rohe in the design of the iconic Barcelona chair or works such as the German Pavilion in Barcelona.
Lilly is composed of two armchairs (with and without arms), very light, and from a simple design surprises with unique solutions. In addition, as it weighs little, it can be moved easily and allows you to configure different types of environments according to the needs of each moment.
