06/11/2023 - Technique becomes decoration with
Rigatino, the
freestanding washbasin by Antoniolupi in which subtle vertical millings on the cylindrical base create a three-dimensional and dynamic surface. A washbasin that, like a tree trunk, rises from the ground to end in a natural crowning.
The identity of the new freestanding washbasin by Antoniolupi is already in the name: the natural wood grains become parallel lines, in a combination between technological evolution and the strength of the material.
The shaft can be made of solid wood or marble, while the basin placed on top can be in Flumood and Colormood, as well as in marble. The column can also be combined with the Simplotondo basin, which has a very functional integrated shelf. Its matt uniformity contrasts with the dynamic, irregular surface of the tall unit.
From the union of two distinct yet constantly dialoguing elements comes a pure volume, a compact yet slender form, vibrant with light and shadow.
