"Each Flos product is a world of itself, a unique creation that reflects the vision of the designer who created it," explain Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla. "The Flos' presentation at Euroluce 2023 reflects this attitude: the stand is made up of six capsules, each dedicated to a new product. Each capsule is a small architecture in its own right, composed in turn of two intersecting cubic or cylindrical volumes".

The Flos stand at Euroluce
Spread over an area of approximately 800 square metres, the Flos stand at Euroluce embraces the concept of the 'capsule' as a small architecture formed by two intersecting volumes, cubic or cylindrical in shape: in the first volume, the creative spark that gave life to the product is expressed, in the second the lamp is presented in all its essence.The exterior design by Berlin-based Studio Lilo sees a reserved but informal green space gently creeping into the centre of the architecture, becoming an integral part of the exhibition.
"Overall," continue Calvi and Brambilla, "the composition of the stand is a free juxtaposition of different shapes that border and interpenetrate each other to simulate an urban situation. The facades reveal the light effect of Flos Outdoor technical products."
New Flos lamps and re-editions of past collections
On display in the Flos stand at Euroluce are new products and re-editions of past collections. There are a total of one hundred and eleven new products dedicated to the architectural, decorative and outdoor spheres, to which are added revisitations of iconic lamps that Flos is re-proposing with new finishes, evolutions of the models, as well as the introduction of matte white and a special edition.Taccia, the iconic lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, is presented in a special edition in a Matte White finish.
From Gino Sarfatti's production for Arteluce, in addition to the relaunch of the chandelier 2097 in a larger model, Flos retrieves the wall model 226/A, with its unusual long stem reminiscent of a halberd. The companions of the past are flanked by the absolute novelties of some of the most acclaimed contemporary designers.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec individually design two new Flos lamp collections for the first time: Cèramique and Emi, characterised by craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.
Cèramique by Ronan Bouroullec is a collection composed of three table elements, with body and diffuser in ceramic with a crystalline lacquered finish, highlighting the craftsmanship of the product. Emi by Erwan Bouroullec is a lamp with a patented anti-glare optical unit and compact dimensions: the base is made of pressed steel, the rod and main body of aluminium. Konstantin Grcic introduces Black Flag, a sculptural wall lamp, extendable, composed of one vertical and three horizontal bars. The designer inaugurates a new lamp for Flos with a rebellious spirit, which escapes any typological classification. Making his debut with Flos, Philippe Malouin presents Bilbouquet, an adjustable table lamp inspired by the 16th century French game and with eco-friendly qualities. Flos Architectural presents Workmates, a new family of lamps dedicated to the workplace, with a subtle design and specific lighting characteristics. Advanced light sources and exclusive optics, in which light seems to magically appear from a cone of shadow. Other new products from Flos Architectural include evolutions of track systems and a new linear light unit, designed by Jorge Herrera, applicable to the Zero Track Pro system.
These novelties are highlighted in a dedicated room of the Flos stand at Euroluce, together with a compendium of all elements of Michael Anastassiades' My Circuit flexible track system, the launch of which was celebrated in Flos' Milan showroom in Corso Monforte. A selection of iconic Flos Outdoor products sees Ingraze and Spine 0 by Vincent Van Duysen installed in the outdoor areas of the stand and in the central 'square'. Two focal elements that reaffirm the importance of the Flos Outdoor Manifesto, a programme based on a conscious and responsible approach to lighting outdoor spaces. Flos on Archiproducts
