Tommaso Giunchi + Atelierzero Choose Quadrodesign Taps
01/06/2020 - The quality of a project is also measured in the consistency between rational needs, suggestions and sensitivity in the choice of the elements involved: materials, technical accessories and furnishings used in the realization of the project itself. These are the values and modus operandi at the base of the works of the architecture and interior design studio Tommaso Giunchi+Atelierzero which, among the companies they operate with, have found affinity of purpose with Quadrodesign.

Shared intents and ideals well represented in the different “architectures/containers” with relative peculiarities: the stylistic enhancement in the All’Arco home and a transformation from a workspace to a family residence in the TP3 residence, both in Milan. Two renovations in which the Milan-based architects have developed interiors in which the use and reading of space and aesthetics are the result of a rigorous research on the theme of materials, colour, and natural and artificial light.

In the kitchens and bathrooms of these projects, the wide range of Quadrodesign was chosen for the models featuring chrome and satin metallic finishes, up to the gritty black, chosen and used to add strength to the different moods.

The bespoke furnishings have in common with the complements – and therefore also with the technical furnishing of the taps – the research and attention to details. The principles according to which Quadrodesign company operates, in fact, coincide with those of Tommaso Giunchi+Atelierzero. Principles that, over time, have contributed to consolidating a relationship based on collaboration and to promoting the quality of the product and customer service.

As in the most classic mid-19th century homes, the rooms branch out following the guide of the central corridor. The watchwords are recognizing and enhancing the value of the original wooden floors, that of the doors, of the finely decorated window frames and of the stuccoes. The intent of the project was to apply a careful conservative restoration to these elements and enhance them by emphasizing the contrast with the new: essential, non-invasive but discreet in shapes and soft pastel colors.

A space on two levels that revolves around the central volume of the staircase. The renovation project marks the passage of use from studio to residence. The upper floor presents itself as an open space, marked by the continuity between the various functional spaces and emphasized by custom-made furnishings, by a floor with raw wood essences and by a chromatic accent in forest green, a tone that echoes in the various areas with clear relaxing effects and a quote that enhances the large outdoor area. Green returns decisively in the lower floor, reserved for private rooms.
