24/09/2019 - Extra&ordinary Design’s new collection, 'Jumony', is inspired by ruffled fabric elements from traditional Korean garments and accessories. The Jumony collection includes 5 pieces of table-top/wall-mount sculptures alongside home décor accessories such as a lamp shade, an accessory tray and more.
The forms of each object of the collection were intended to create feminine, elegant volume which can usually be seen from fabric in fashion. Each piece has unique marbling feature on the surface and is a natural effect from the casting process.

There are various colour & finish options. Be-spoke colours & finishes are available at the minimum unit order.
Natural grey
Natural grey colour option is to cast with only the black pigment. Each piece has unique tone of grey. They come with distinctive marble effect on the surface from the casting process.
Icy pastel
Icy pastel colour options is made in various light pastel colour palette. It comes with natural white marbling effect on the surface from the casting process.
Pale peach
Pale peach colour option is based on natural white colour of the material, and then, water-based light peach colour is gradually spray painted top and bottom of each object. The gradient finish boosts visual effects of its sculptural elements on the pieces.
Blush pink
Blush pink is fully spray painted. They are cast in natural white, and spray painted in 2 layers of pale peach and berry pink in order. The gradient finish boosts visual eff ects of its sculptural elements on the pieces as well as its feminine mood.
Santorini sunset
This par ticular colour & finish ar e inspired by beautiful nature scenery with sunset reflecting on the Santorini ocean. The red colour is gradually sprayed on the light blue body from the casting. The gradient finish boosts visual eff ects of its sculptural elements on the pieces.
Bespoke colours
Bespoke colours and finishes ar e available from our North London studio. It takes 3-4 weeks lead time depending on order quantities.
The entire collection is made of Jesmonite which is an eco-friendly water-based fine cement-like material, which is durable, light and UV stable. All items are designed by founder Hyunhee Hwang and fabricated in Extra&ordinary Design’s North London studio.
