Martini Interiors priviledge the choice of aseptic materials by nature such as porcelain stoneware or quartz, which therefore facilitate the cleaning of the counter. The quartz in fact, thanks to its synthetic structure, doesn't contain and doesn't release harmful volatile substances and, being of a bacteriostatic nature, it is suitable for domestic use and food distribution. The porcelain stoneware, on the other hand, combines ease of cleaning with the large size of the slab, allowing to reduce the number of joints where dirt is hidden. The presence of special additives also makes it resistant to bacteria, fungi and mold.

When the customer's choice is oriented instead on porous materials and so attackable by bacteria such as natural stones, marbles and granites, Martini Interiors takes care of treating the counter surface with specific products. The latter in fact prevent the growth of bacteria and mold, without having to regularly apply heavy non-natural chemicals and without altering the color or the touch related aspects of the material.

All the paints used by Martini Interiors are also considered antibacterial and non-toxic. Eventually, the brand's research focused on food paints that do not contain any heavy metals or toxic substances.

The handle represents the part of the kitchen that is touched the most and it is therefore necessary to pay particular attention to it.
For this reason, Martini Interiors recommends the use of metal handles, the antibacterial material par excellence, preferably avoiding groove handles and preferring instead the choice of relatively large ones.
This way, in fact, it is possible to systematically proceed with cleaning with more aggressive treatments than those used for the painted wood support.

Although the product itself is perfectly sanitized and antibacterial at the time of delivery, contamination due to use and therefore to daily contact with objects that are not perfectly sanitized, can make what has been made ineffective or inhibit its effect. For this reason, Martini Interiors proposes an innovative system to purify the air and surfaces inside the furniture through the Smart Air system which, enclosed in a small shell applied to the furniture, sucks in the air and treats it in different ways depending on the chosen model. The air can be treated with negative ions and ozone or with UV- A rays. Both of these solutions significantly improve air quality by reducing the harmful agents present (VOC, bacteria, viruses, molds and allergens) and preventing the formation of mold, mites and bad smell.

Mites, germs and bacteria often nest below the kitchen base. Cleaning this area is recommended at least once every 6 months, that's why the kitchen plinth of the Martini Interiors furniture is always removable. But not only that, Martini Interiors is able to offer suspended kitchens, literally hung on the wall, which facilitate the daily cleaning operation without compromising the aesthetics but giving to these creations an almost scenographic impact.
