Caldera is a round washbasin made of cast concrete.‎ Designed by Valentino Marengo in 2017.‎

Caldera presents a design concept influenced by the practicality of ancient objects, drawing inspiration from the Cycladic culture of the Bronze Age.‎ In Cycladic art, wash bowls were crafted with a distinct structure, often supported by three legs.‎ Reflecting this tradition, Caldera features an organic shape reminiscent of ancient handcrafted artifacts.‎

Caldera is named after the Greek word meaning a large cauldron-like hollow, formed shortly after the emptying of a magma chamber during a volcano eruption.‎ The volcanic area in Santorini is referred to as Caldera.‎

Available in 4 shades of gray, in various colors from the warm and cool tones of beige, terracotta, olive green, dusty blue, etc.‎
